Sorry Ive Been So Out Of It :(

hey.
its been a while.

There is this group of young adults that im in, and i was hired as the official photographer.Its a free job, but all for practice .

Well they are having a party on saturday night. I have to basically just snap candids all night, and a few shots of the committee with the guest performers and such for their website.

I am feeling really bummed because its hitting hard that i dont have an slr yet

My cousin, whose nikon i usually borrow, is in canada at the moment, and my sister’s canon is fixing
my aunt has a nikon but its a film an i really need digital. my best friend’s mother got a nikon d40 but has no clue what to do with it.I was supposed to use it this weekend, but its on her father’s yaught, and he’s in the bahamas
so everything doesnt seem to be working out at the moment.
also, next weekend, ill be sleeping over at a friends and its gonna be about 5 of us.
we plan on doing a mini-shoot with makeup and change of clothes and everything because i really need the practice. in 3 months and a day, ill be 16 and i hope i get the slr (i really want the XSi!)

also, there is one girl in my school, who is my biggest competition, she got a 5D for christmas and she’s really good, everyone loves her work, and keeps begging her to take pics of them!

she lived in canada for 4 years, and in middle school she took a photoshop course, so of course she’s MUCHHH better than me
